Bill Gebhardt leads the strategic direction and overall performance of our shared executive services at Corporate Group, Inc. With 30+ years of experience specializing in operational and managerial success, Bill concentrates on strategy and operational efficiencies. Bill directs a team of professionals who provide business support for Monarch Capital’s portfolio of operating companies in strategic planning, accounting, human resources, marketing, and IT.
He began his career at Arthur Anderson which provided auditing, tax and consulting services to large corporations. Bill worked with a global team of consultants on a wide array of projects. The exposure gained was a valuable building block for Bill’s career in the family business.
In 1994, Bill began at Monarch Corporation, the family’s custom steel fabrication and machining business. Over the next 10 years he transformed the underperforming business into an industry leader. Bill modernized and expanded Monarch Corporation’s machining capabilities with automated equipment, increasing productivity and efficiencies company wide. These technological improvements allowed Monarch to reach new higher-margin markets and increased its operating income tenfold.

Bill mentored his successor at Monarch Corporation as he transitioned into his executive leadership role at Corporate Group, Inc.
Bill earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies from Babson College in Boston, MA.
Bill proudly served as a member of the MSOE Board of Regents. He is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth – Wisconsin. Bill serves his community as the manager of the family foundation and President of the local Homeowners Association.
Bill values the time he shares with his wife and four children. Outside of the office Bill enjoys playing sports, water activities and new adventures.
